Students as Mobile News Reporters Using Videolicious iOS App

Description:  Participants will examine the ease of creating digital stories using the Videolicious iOS app. This format is perfect for any curricular area as the app simplifies media production, allowing the student to focus more on the storytelling elements and less on the technical skills. I will show participants how to create a 60-sec video story titled, "What I Love about ISTE!" that we can instantly share via social media.

Description:  The concept of the “flipped classroom” wouldn’t be possible without screencasting. Learn how to create screencasts on iPads, Windows or Mac. Technology Teacher Rob Zdrojewski has "flipped" his direct instruction into screencasting so his students have anytime, anywhere access to classroom instruction.
